US Trading Session Morning Up-Date; Jobless Claims continue to impress
Initial jobless
claims fell to their lowest level since January 2008 and shrank more than
expected.
The four-week average dropped to 341K, which is below the 350K level
that economists say indicates moderate job growth.
Meanwhile the July ISM
manufacturing index topped expectations and hit its highest level since April
2011. The key employment component popped back into positive growth territory
after a worrying contraction in June.
