Timing Better Entries
We have a few strong trends, and a handful of range-bound markets going into Thursday’s trading session, which means we need to be ready with the right strategy…
But no matter what strategy we use, it all boils down to timing our entries properly tomorrow morning – are you ready?
Crude Oil is Begging for Another Leg High
Crude Oil is bullish with a strong run higher, which tells to look for buying opportunities at key support levels tomorrow morning.
And I’ve identified some key levels, along with the specific entry set-ups I’m watching to time the entry properly.
E-Mini S&P is Back in Balance (Again)
E-Mini S&P is bearish into a range-bound market, which tells me to buy low, sell high, and avoid the middle on Thursday morning.
The big clue, however, is the bearish momentum before we entered the range, telling me to focus on buyer-failures above the rang high tomorrow morning.
Nasdaq is Bearish, Waiting for Buyer Failures
Nasdaq is bearish into a blended trading-range, which tells me to fade the breakouts using failure patterns at the highs and lows.
Knowing this, the key will be timing the entry using the proper set-up according to the bearish momentum from earlier in the day.
Gold Needs More Pieces to the Puzzle
Gold is range-bound as we go into contract rollover tomorrow morning, which tells me to focus on failures – buying low, selling high, and avoiding the middle.
And speaking of failures, the triangle pattern on today’s chart reminds me to focus on those “edges” for the best entry timing on Thursday morning.
Euro is Running Lower, But Will This Hold?
Euro is bearish with three strong legs lower, which would normally tell me to sell this market, but we’re sitting right on three major levels of support.
So instead of trying to force this market short, I’m going to look for a better risk-reward-ratio and wait for the sellers to try twice for a nested failure set-up tomorrow morning.
“Get going. Move forward. Aim High. Plan a takeoff. Don’t just sit on the runway and hope someone will come along and push the airplane. It simply won’t happen. Change your attitude and gain some altitude. Believe me; you’ll love it up here.”
