They keep on drillin’ for the black gold here in the US

HOUSTON, July 22 — US drilling activity again made gains this week, up by 11 rotary rigs to 1,916 working vs. 1,585 a year ago, Baker Hughes Inc. reported.
Land operations had the biggest increase, up 9 rigs to 1,861 active. Inland waters remained unchanged at 18. Offshore drilling was up by 2 rigs to 37, all in the Gulf of Mexico.
