Tape Reading Lesson: Bracket the Tape
– There is an example of this in a video on our blog
–
– Here’s what you need:
o Pad a paper or a word document
o Time and Sales Window (no filter)
o Need volume in the market
o You need a stopwatch / clock with a second hand.
– Watch your tape for 30seconds and make note of the highest and lowest price you see during that time.
o Then watch closely to see when the market moves up or below this ‘bracket’
– Don’t take the first breakout, take the 2nd one.

Summertime Schedule for August/Sept
– Closed Friday Sept 2nd for Labor Day the first before Labor Day
– We re-open Tuesday the 6th after the Monday holiday
– Remember price action will be sloppy the last week of August.
