Monday Summertime day trading strategy earns profits
This morning we began a new week with some concerns over volume. We had a few reasons to be worried this morning; first, the long holiday break told us many traders would likely be coming back a little late to their desks today. Second, it’s a Monday, and we always use discipline and a simple day trading strategy for Monday morning.
The key to trading on Monday is taking it slowly, not forcing trades too early in the trading session, and keeping an eye out for the sweet-spot from 930am through 1100am EST today. We did a great job this morning at taking our time, and then being ready for the high-percentage trades that came after our first news of the morning and the US Open at 930am EST.
