Auto trader holds up well over the Holiday, excited for a BIG year of 2011
Many of us were curious to see how the auto trader did over the holiday break.
– Did it take back all our money?
– Did it chop us up with too many trades?
Most automated trading systems will be too dangerous to trade overnight or over a slow period of time like the end of the year, but once again, this is NOT your dad’s auto trader
Let’s take a look at the crude oil futures for the auto trader:
As you can see we had a breakeven day for profits on this 13-range chart on crude oil futures.

Remember though, we don’t care so much about today’s results, we want to look at the bigger picture, and it held up nicely, earning over $3400 over the past 60 days. Not bad.

Lets take a look at Gold, one of our favorite markets to trade with this fully-automated trading software
You can see the gold futures did amazingly well over the break, as well as having a good day today too!
We made 20 ticks last Friday, and today we earned $600usd on only 1 trade.

We clearly love the profit this auto strategy produced over the past 60 days, but the real important info is the drawdown (less than 1.5%), the number of trades it took each day (1.5) and the fact that both long and shorts made us money.
Very impressive for the time of year that SHOULD be costing us money!
And of course, we can’t forget about the euro futures…

We took two trades today, 1 loss and 1 open position at this time, with the final target of 2989 only 40 ticks away.
Again, we look to the numbers to see how this auto strategy did over the break…

This auto strategy only takes 1.5 trades per day and has rock-bottom drawdown which means we don’t need to worry about it chopping us up all the time over times like end of the year.
Very excited to see how these continue to perform in 2011…and remember we will be training members on Wednesday @ 1130am EST on this new auto trader.
