Why do I run a live trade room?

Why do I run a trade room?  There are three reasons:

1.  I used to manage money, but I hated that I couldn’t SPEAK with my clients, and I really didn’t like being alone, not working with people, so I decided this was a better fit for me.

2.  I have three brothers that trade our family fund, and our website is a GREAT way for us to develop new traders.  I meet new traders DAILY that we offer the ability to manage our family fund.  Its MUCH better than a Hedge Fund b/c we dont use client money (no quarterly redemptions or SEC regs), we just keep training/developing great traders and then we let them trade our money.  We have a ‘supply’ of talented traders for our family fund because WE DEVELOP THEM from scratch every day.

3.  I used to trade 50+ contracts each day, but that’s much harder than < 20 contracts (good problem to have yes), so I decided it would be a better business model for me and my family to trade a small account in our trade room (i trade 4 lots in the trade room) and then use the exposure we get in the trade room to develop truly talented traders that can come work with us, which allows me to trade HUNDREDS of contracts by using our team of traders which grows every day as new members learn and join us.

So, as you can see, this was a business decision that had a lot to do with my personal objectives, my personality and desire to SPEAK and WORK with clients, and at the same time I have 3 younger brothers that do all the ‘heavy lifting’ for me on our accounts, and at the same time, I am developing new talent daily.

It works out very well in my opinion.  I can do what I love (and it shows), developing new talent for trading our family fund.  I love meeting new people, and the ability to attract the BEST talent has always been the biggest incentive for us and our trade room.
