Summer-Friday day trading strategy earns EASY +80ticks in TOUGH Markets

This morning we finished up another week filled with learning and earning opportunities in our live trade room(s). First, this was the last full week of the month so we know why there was a little less volume this week. Second, the Friday’s are always going to be an early start and early stop much earlier than other days of the week, and third, today was GDP News at 830am EST and GDP seems to ALWAYS be ‘all show…no go’. These three things led up to a sleepy Friday morning, and we still earned more than half of our average profit targets for the day.

Our first two trades today were a little frustrating, both of them were selling opportunities, and both of them filled my first profit target at +5ticks for the easy target, but then proceeded to test, but not fill, my second profit target each time.
