Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Today we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day here in the United States and around the world, which celebrates one of the most influential people in our country’s history, and a cornerstone of equal rights around the globe.

Dr. King believed in a nation of freedom and justice for all, and encouraged all citizens to live up to the purpose and potential of America by applying the principles of nonviolence to make this country a better place to live—creating the Beloved Community.

We hope you enjoy your holiday as the markets and schools are closed today.  Enjoy this time to be with family and friends, and remember the true meaning behind this day.  We are all part of a community we call planet earth, and may peace be with everyone.
