News for the week:
Global Calendar: Investors will be paying close attention to Fed Chairman Ben
Bernanke’s Congressional testimony on Tuesday and Wednesday, especially after
the strong reaction to the minutes of the FOMC’s last meeting. Key Japanese
data for January will be published at week’s end. And hopefully, we will know
who Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe selects to be his new governor of the
Bank of Japan.

This morning we have the first day of a new
month, and the last day of a very profitable week of trading with our members
in the Live Trade Room. We know that the beginning of the month is
always an exciting time to trade for many reasons, one of which is the
volatility we see as buyers and sellers enter the market for hedging purposes.

This morning we get started with early-morning
news that will hopefully spark some high-percentage-trades to pad our account
early in the session. We want to focus on getting into trades early
this morning because we can see Ben Bernanke is back in front of a camera again
today, and people will always be ready to listen. We will assume that with Ben Bernanke
speaking on a Friday morning after the opening bell that we are going to see
early morning price-action followed by slop and chop as people hit the exits
early ahead of the weekend.
